About Me

Kathryn McCarthy MA Ed, MS OTR/L

Kathryn McCarthy received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and has specialized in pediatrics for over 30 years. She has worked in clinic, early intervention and school based settings, as well as having offered her clinical expertise internationally in facilities in Romania and Mexico. Kathryn is also highly trained and certified in evaluating and treating Sensory Processing Disorders in both children and adults.

Kathryn began her training in CranioSacral Therapy in 2000 and currently sees clients privately in Providence, RI where she provides services for infants, children and adults. 

Additionally, Kathryn previously taught a “Manual Therapy For Pediatrics” course nationally in a variety of hospital and clinical settings.

Kathryn has a Masters in Dance Performance from George Washington University, having performed and taught professionally prior to pursuing her career in Occupational Therapy.

Kathryn loves working with pregnant mothers, infants, children and adults that present with a wide range of issues and concerns, supporting healthy function throughout the developmental continuum. www.kathrynmccarthyotr.com
