About Me

I am a California State Certified Massage Therapist and Certified CranioSacral Therapist. My craniosacral training is through Upledger Institute International and is for all ages from prenatal to advanced years. As a graduate of the Hands on Healing Institute Massage Program, my formal massage training includes Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology and Essential Oil Therapy. I have certifications in Pediatric Massage with Tina Allen, founder of LiddleKidz.com; in Compassionate Touch with The Heart Touch Project in Santa Monica, California; and have specialized CranioSacral training in pediatrics with Upledger. I am a teaching assistant for Upledger and a seminar leader for the pediatric massage training program for medically fragile children with The Heart Touch Project. I also volunteered for several years at UCLA for these medically fragile children. In addition, I regularly attend continuing education seminars with accredited organizations in order to expand my knowledge in the wellness field and to stay current on related issues. ​ My practice is client-centered and focuses on the connection between body, mind and spirit. I believe that given the right kind of support, the body has the ability to heal itself, and my role is to facilitate that process through gentle touch and dialoging techniques that encourage the body to release tension patterns and return to homeostasis. There is no set number of sessions to achieve this because each person heals on his/her own timetable.
