Joe McCue, owner of American Wellness Solutions, LLC, based in Portsmouth, NH, is a Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager and consults for organizations seeking to establish or enhance their employee worksite wellness programs.

He holds a Master's degree from DePaul University in Chicago in worksite wellness. Since 2001, Joe has owned and operated a successful wellness practice. He has worked with organizations such as US Bank, Whole Foods Markets, Planet Fitness World Headquarters and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of New Hampshire as well as numerous doctors, chiropractors, nutritionists, Pilates & yoga instructors and other health professionals to help people reclaim their wellness.

Joe is also a Certified Wellness Practitioner, a Certified Personal Trainer, a trained Wellness Coach, a Certified CPR and First Aid Instructor and serves on the Steering Committee for the Wellness Coordinators Council of NH. He thoroughly enjoys helping people lead fulfilled and balanced lives.

Additionally, Joe has been a practicing massage therapist for over 17 years and currently holds several certifications in a variety of different modalities, from Reiki to Clinical Deep Tissue to CranioSacral Therapy. He has well over 1,800 hours of training, is nationally certified and has served as adjunct faculty in the Massage Therapy programs at Oakton Community College and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Illinois. He also taught in both the Massage Therapy and Health & Wellness Promotion Departments at the College of Lake County in Illinois, where he served as Lead Faculty for the Wellness Practicum Program.

Teaching continues to be a passion for Joe - in addition to running his own company, he is also an adjunct professor in the Massage Therapy Department at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth. Currently he serves as the Wellness Coordinator for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation where he oversees all of the wellness programming for over 1,800 employees across 90 locations throughout the state. Beyond that, he has created a variety of wellness presentations and workshops for local businesses and civic organizations, including the Portsmouth Regional Hospital. In his spare time, Joe is an avid photographer, hiker and loves being in nature.
