About Me
Jen graduated from the University of Washington with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. Shortly after, she moved with her family to Kigali, Rwanda. She continued to practice in a private hospital, eventually transitioning to private practice for the next 4 years. After a 2 year hiatus in the US, they moved to Cuenca, Ecuador. In their 3 years there, she had the opportunity to learn Spanish, continue her private practice, and volunteer with a local organization for disabled adults as well as participate in pop-up medical clinics working with the rural population.
After returning to the States in 2018, she started a private practice working exclusively with local ballet dancers. She has continued to expand her knowledge with visceral and neuromeningeal training with the Barral Institute as well as lymphedema training at a local clinic. The fusion of these specialty skills and working experience has opened her mind to the necessity of varied treatment strategies specific to the patient’s needs and demands of their activities. Mindfully, she uses her education in combination with her experience and instincts to gently listen to what your body is saying. Our bodies do not fit inside a textbook and personal resources do not always allow patients access to the equipment or frequency of care they need. Jen recognizes this and crafts a treatment plan in conjunction with the patient to provide the best level of care.
