About

I spent my youth raising 4 incredible kids and working full-time as a self-employed bookkeeper, office manager and human resource advocate for several different dental and medical offices. In the Spring of 2004 I ended up having a pickup truck hit my vehicle so hard that it caused me to lose 3 years of memory and my doctors to tell me that I should plan on applying for disability. I was fortunate enough to have an Incredible Neurologist and Nurse Practitioner willing to work with me to help me get my life back through more of an Eastern Medicine means mixed with Western Medicine. When my Neurologist signed the papers to say I was physically and mentally able to attend my Massage Therapy school in Denver Colorado it was truly a miracle. I am blessed to be able to facilitate healing for my clients. I am blessed to have four adult children that love and support me in choosing to change my walk of life completely. I have found my joy, passion and purpose in life. If I can make a difference in one persons life each and every day I consider my life overflowing with blessings. I believe life is about relationships and quality of our relationships, whoever crosses my path is meant to be there. I am dedicated to learning as much as I can continually. The body and therapy is an unending book to learn. I focus on time on my passions which are strong personal relationships and to continually learn to grow and become a more knowledgeable and intuitive bodyworker.

My Skills

I was fortunate in the school that I attended in Denver, Colorado in that they taught Western but also focused on Eastern therapies. I am a licensed massage therapist, I received my certificate and diploma through the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy in Denver, Colorado. Then I took my certification exam through the NCBTMB over in the Spokane Valley and received my licensure from the state of Montana. I am a cranial-sacral therapist with training from the Upledger International Institute out of Florida and I am currently working on my Certification which I plan on having no later than January 2017. The next step for me will be to achieve my Diplomat with the Upledger International Institute no later than January 2018. With my certification through Upledger I will have the ability to practice cranial-sacral throughout the world and with their Diplomat I will have the ability to teach their program internationally as well. I offer swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, therapeutic massage, pregnancy massage, foot treatments and cranial-sacral therapy. It is not uncommon for me to utilize different modalities of therapy while caring for a client depending upon what I find in their tissue. I specialize my therapy for each client to their wants and needs. I also work with their medical providers many times. I have medical doctors, nurse practitioners and chiropractors that refer to me.
