About

I have been practicing as a physical therapist for 30 years.  I began my career treating patients who had sustained head injuries or strokes. This work was physically demanding and very hands on.   I really enjoyed the hands-on aspect of this work but following a bicycle wreck, I could no longer treat this patient population due to the lifting.  I wanted to continue with hands-on treatment.  I specialized in John Barnes Myofascial Release because it helped me recover from my bicycle accident.    I became interested in how the viscera effects the muscoloskeletal system and began to study Barral Visceral Manipulation.  I have taken the entire visceral coursework and integrate visceral evaluation and treatment techniques into my work.  Studying visceral manipulation has improved my palpation and treatment efficacy and is a wonderful addition to rest of my skill set.

When I am not working, I enjoy stand up paddleboarding, walking, gardening, skiing and hiking as well as spending time with my family and friends.
