About

Hans has completed his training as a Therapeutic Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in CranioSacral Therapy, thru the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; the birthplace of CST. Equipped with the certificate as a Reiki Master/Teacher (RMT) and previous Masters education in Physiotherapy a wide depth of experience and knowledge can be bestowed on each therapy session. (Therapy sessions are within the scope of a LMT.)

Hans was born in The Netherlands and immigrated to the United States when he was young. Growing up in Buffalo, NY and later moving to Oregon, he took the opportunity to study Physical Therapy in The Netherlands after his college years. After running a successful health care business in Oregon, a move was made to Florida to be closer to family. An MBA degree in Sustainability followed, with ten years in that field and now a complete turn has taken Hans back to integrative healthcare. A family member was diagnosed with  Essential Tremor, traditionally treated only with medications, alternatively, measured success in controlling the tremor was realized using CranioSacral Therapy (CST). This awakened Hans' natural abilities and connections to health care, inspiring the opening his practice, Opt Fot CranioSacral Therapy, to service the greater Sarasota and Bradenton areas.
