Gillian Sturdivant

About

Gillian has been practicing physical therapy starting in 2001.  She started her career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in acute care working with adults and pediatrics, followed by outpatient settings since 2003.  She became interested in manual work of IAHE in 2006, and continues with increasing her knowledge and skills through her love of learning, and through continued classes and workshops to improve skills.  

She treats all types of patients from babies to adults with a holistic, whole body, integrative approach. Using gentle, hands-on techniques derived from osteopathic concepts that help release years of dysfunction or old trauma in an effort to restore better alignment, reduce muscle tension and spasm, calm the nervous system, enhance energy flow, and support organ function

All are welcome in Gillian's practice. She works closely with clients who are healing physical and health challenges, as well as those consciously walking their personal paths in body, mind and spirit and seeking to deepen their personal connection within. 

She is double certified in the Healing from the Core curriculum for distance and in person sessions, as well as leading small groups and overview workshops on grounding and healthy boundaries.
