About Me

I am a Manual Physical Therapist who integrates multiple Manual Therapy treatment paradigms. Rooted in principles of Functional Manual Therapy (FMT) and Osteopathic Manual Medicine, my approach integrates the manual treatment of the following systems; articular or joint, fascial, visceral, neuro-vascular, muscular strength and motor control. 

I completed Fellowship training and received the designation of Fellow through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) and through The Institute of Physical Art's Functional Manual Therapy (FFMT) under the mentorship of Gregg Johnson, and Brent Yamashita. Less than 1% of PT's have completed a Fellowship through the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy and there are less than 50 who’ve completed the Fellowship for Functional Manual Therapy. Following my Fellowship training also participated as a part of the Functional Manual Therapy Fellowship Faculty, training other Manual Physical Therapists reaching their highest levels of instruction. 

I am a 2 time presenter for the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry (AAPMD) Physical Therapy section giving talks on 'Cervical Fascial Layers and Breathing', and on the 'Trigeminal Cervical Complex Through a Manual Therapy Lens’ to Dentists, Functional Medicine Doctors, Chiropractors, Myofunctional Therapists, and Physical Therapists. 

I love to work with a broad array of patients from high level athletes and performers to individuals with complex histories (such as GI issues, multiple surgeries or traumas,  environmental toxicity recovery, sleep disordered breathing) and chronic pain to patients with TMD, headaches/Migraines and airway dysfunction to patients with scoliosis and other general musculoskeletal / orthopedic dysfunctions and pain.
