As a physician and advanced practitioner of CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional® Release Upledger method, I have gained important experience in understanding and treating psychosomatic disorders (somatizations). Over time, I realized that the therapeutic process does not depend only on the treatment technique or dialogue, but also on the complex interaction between doctor/practitioner and patient, with a similar - and complementary - impact to an active therapeutic substance.

After many years of research and projects for doctors and students in the health field, I defended the first doctoral thesis in Romania in Medical and Health Humanities (MHH) and, to my knowledge, the first in the literature to address the doctor-patient relationship at a metacognitive level. Through this research, I have thus become the promoter of a new field in Romania, MHH, applied in medical education and improvement, which can restore humanity in the interaction between doctor and patient. I have coordinated numerous university projects and published scientific articles and book chapters with prestigious academic publishers, including Springer Nature.

Thus, this research allows me to apply new and valuable knowledge in the practice of therapy and in the academic space to improve patients' experience and health status by enhancing the quality of the medical act at an interpersonal level.
