About
Hi, I’m Elmarie Wessels, PT. I believe that healing happens best when you feel safe, supported, and connected to your own body. Over my 30 years as a physical therapist, I’ve learned that true recovery isn’t just about fixing pain—it’s about helping your whole system find balance again.
My path to Craniosacral Therapy started more than 20 years ago, when I experienced its profound benefits firsthand. It helped ease my migraines from a childhood brain injury, supported me through prenatal depression, and relieved the chronic tension and discomfort from scoliosis. Those experiences showed me how powerful gentle, restorative therapies can be in helping the body heal and find balance.
Since then, my work has grown beyond traditional physical therapy. I combine my expertise with yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Reiki, meditation, and my background in dance to create a truly integrative approach. This blend has helped hundreds of clients find lasting relief from back and neck pain, headaches, TMJ, PTSD, and stress-related conditions—while also reconnecting with their bodies and building resilience.
My goal is simple: to create a calm, nurturing space where you can relax, restore, and reconnect with yourself, so you leave each session feeling lighter, calmer, and more at ease.
My Skills
I bring together evidence-based physical therapy and gentle, restorative practices to help your body, mind, and energy find balance. Every session is designed to meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re looking for pain relief, stress reduction, or simply a chance to reconnect with yourself.
Here’s how I help:
· Craniosacral Therapy – A gentle, hands-on approach to calm your nervous system and release stored tension.
· Yoga & Pilates – Mindful movement to build strength, stability, and ease.
· Reiki & Tai Chi – Practices that support emotional balance, energy flow, and deep relaxation.
· Physical Therapy – Expert care for your spine, rehabilitation, and pain management.
· Meditation & Breathwork – Simple tools to quiet the mind, ease stress, and restore focus.
My goal is always the same: to create a calming, supportive space where your body can unwind, your mind can settle, and you can leave feeling lighter and more at ease.
