I learned early on that it’s hard to enjoy life and make good decisions when you don’t feel your best.

I count the summer day in 1984 that I met Dr. John Upledger as one of the luckiest days of my life. I was exploring non-pharmaceutical ways of being well and had just decided to go to massage therapy school. 

Dr. Upledger taught me that healing wasn’t limited to muscles and that I could touch my clients in the deepest, yet gentlest, and most effective ways possible. He taught me to work where anatomy and energy meet and how to release problems anywhere in the body. 

People who were unable to get relief were suddenly and quickly much better. I am so happy to share this way of wellness with you!

I work with people of all ages and specialize in relieving pain, fatigue, distress and discomfort, and restoring function, whether long-term or recent, especially for those with complicated or mystifying symptoms.

I served as the president of the American Massage Therapy Association-Virginia Chapter and developed and managed both hospital-based massage therapy and Reiki programs that continue to thrive throughout the Shenandoah Valley. My Reiki trainings were offered as continuing education classes certified by The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

Driving directions

Front Royal is a peaceful and picturesque town in the Shenandoah Valley. It' s also the starting point for the renown Skyline Drive and is convenient to the Washington, DC area. My studio office is located out of town in a quiet, natural setting, where you can choose to listen to the chimes and birds or music during your session.
