About Me

Jennifer is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) and Diplomate in CranioSacral Therapy with nearly 30 years of experience in practicing and teaching Chinese Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy (CST), and Chinese Internal Martial Arts.  She holds a Master’s with distinction in Medical Anthropology from Northern Arizona University, completed a Fellowship with the National Institutes of Health, and holds an Advanced Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University. She is an Associate Professor with Five Branches University. She also serves on the Integrative Intentions Leadership Team and as an Instructor for Integrative Intentions BioAquatic CranioSacral Therapy Classes and Dolphin Accompanied CranioSacral Therapy Programs for clients held each summer in the Bahamas.

Jennifer has extensive experience with a wide range of health and medical issues. She is a General Practitioner, seeing everyone from newborns to adults into their 80s, with a focus in recovery from physical injury due to accident/injury, brain trauma (TBI), neurological conditions, chronic illness, and women’s health.  Jennifer is passionate about helping patients recover and thrive using a holistic approach which integrates Acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese Orthopedic Bodywork), and CranioSacral Therapy (CST). Her sessions also include Classical Chinese herbal medicine, targeted nutritional guidance, therapeutic movement with Taiji Chuan and Qi Gong. Jennifer also offers personalized physical and mental health coaching for those looking for deeper self-understanding and to thrive at life and work while working under tremendous pressures in Silicon Valley.

She began training in Chinese Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, and Chinese Internal Martial Arts in 1994, with Dr. Miranda Warburton.  Over the next 12 years she studied intensively to hone her skills and integrate the practice of Chinese Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, and Chinese martial arts under the mentorship of Dr. Miranda Warburton and Vince Black, who specialized in acupuncture, Tuina, CranioSacral Therapy, and martial arts. She also had the great fortune of being mentored in CST by Dr. Chas Perry.

Jennifer made multiple trips to Asia where she had the great fortune to study with many different masters of Asian medical arts and Chinese martial arts; and completed clinical internships at the International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, and Zhejiang Medical University in Hongzhou, China.  In 2008, Jennifer became board-certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, and obtained her California license to practice acupuncture after completing a Master’s in TCM from Five Branches University.
