Welcome!
Debra is a proponent of complementary therapies with traditional medicine to assist the body in healing itself.
She is a life-long learner, and is constantly learning new things to help her clients. She has taught Massage Therapy at the Cortiva Institute for over 10 years, teaching Business, Professional Ethics and Communication, Special Populations, Massage and Body Mechanics, Sports and Stretching, Muscles- Anatomy - Kinesiology I and II, Myofascial Release, Research and Clinical Reasoning, Clinical Massage and Student Clinic.
Her educational background started with music at a very early age, and eventually graduated with a Masters in Business Administration. Seeing how people and peers were hurting themselves every day, she took a course in Reiki and became a Reiki Master. In 2007, she then went into Massage Therapy, and went on to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist - performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Complete Decongestive Therapy. The Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses the Vodder Method to help those with lymphedema pain. Following the family tradition and the love of helping others, she quickly became an Instructor of Massage Therapy. To augment her education, she followed up with CranioSacral Therapy I and II, Visceral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release Therapy and others.
Debra's goal is to help her clients relax, and help their bodies heal themselves.
