My name is Daniel Silberstein and I am an acute care physical therapist who is board certified in neurology; my philosophy was strongly rooted in biomechanics and approaching problems from a strength, balance, endurance perspective; challenging circumstances, however, give you an opportunity to rethink your assumptions and navigate new pathways; After struggling with migraines and muscular pain, I began to explore modalities like the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and Somatic Experiencing when the traditional interventions were limited. When I tried craniosacral therapy, I noticed a striking effect. I felt a sense of calm, like the networks that give rise to my mind were able to relax and power down. I now feel blessed to be able to provide this light touch modality to clients to help with nervous system regulation, pain management, and groundingÂ
