About
Hélène Grimard discovered the benefits of CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and SomatoEmotional Release (SER) in 2000, near the end of a diverse and interesting career in Education. This experience was a pivotal point in her life. Her passion for this fascinating gentle yet powerful therapy led her to begin a rewarding new profession in 2003After her introduction to CST, Hélène eagerly shared information about its benefits with adults seeking well-being. She quickly became attracted to the advantages of CST for children with developmental and learning challenges. In her practice she has addressed such issues as sensory processing issues, ADD, speech, anxiety, and depression. Having participated in the Upledger class Conception, Pregnancy and Childbirth, she advocates for the well-being of the unborn encouraging sessions for parents during pregnancy. She also offers ‘multiple hands individual or family sessions’ with colleagues. While Hélène continues to have a particular interest in supporting children and their learning, her practice focuses on wellness for all family members throughout life. Recent research on the benefits of CST for elderhood has gained more of her attention. Benefits include improving quality of life of seniors by increasing cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), increasing fluid flow to reduce inflammation, lowering blood pressure, increasing detoxification, promoting organ function, and enhancing sleep patterns to help prevent Alzheimer’s and dementia. My Skills
