About Me
Chrissy is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor. Chrissy is also a professional member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. She has maintained a private practice in Hanover, Massachusetts since 2018.
She believes deeply in a person's innate capacity for healing, given the right support through a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Her focus is working with clients, not on them, to ensure each session meets their needs, whether the goal is Lymphatic support, stress reduction, chronic pain relief or as a proactive part of an overall health and wellness routine.Â
Her interest in the healing arts began in 2016 when she made the decision to change careers after two decades as a professional chef. Pursuing a Yoga teacher training certification helped her to understand that by inviting exploration of the body through movement, with breath and awareness, that healing is not just possible but probable. With a desire to further understand the benefits of natural healing and self-care she began studies in Massage Therapy at Spa Tech Institute. Chrissy has continued to deepen her passion for, understanding of, and knowledge surrounding both Yoga and bodywork through continued education and a deepening of her own personal practice. She approaches each massage as an opportunity to soothe aches and pains and to create space in the body for positive changes to occur, whether physical, mental, or emotional. Â
Chrissy is also a wife, mother of two, and Yogini who enjoys cooking, hiking, pickle-ball, gardening, and curling up with a good book.
