Charlotte is the managing director of SafeHaven Trauma Centre, a specialist treatment centre for recovery form psychological trauma and coercion based in Greater Manchester.

Charlotte is a trained integrative psychotherapist and advanced craniosacral therapist who has specialised in psychological trauma and somatic-emotional health throughout her career. Working with people traumatised from a range of different experiences, including combat veterans; hostages; victims of torture; victims of terrorism; asylum seekers; suicide attempts and survivors of suicide; catastrophic injury; those diagnosed with terminal illness; fracturing spiritual experiences.

Her work has also included a range of mental health conditions including, complex trauma, personality disorders and those recovering from life-changing injury.

Charlotte sat on the board of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists, 2016 to 2018. She has also acted as lead psychotherapist for the Haematology Department at Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Hours of operation / Fees

  • Appointments are available Mon - Friday
  • SafeHaven Trauma Centre offers PTSD assessment and diagnosis. 
  • Treatment plans range from weekly appointments through to Intensive Treatment Programs and are designed according to each clients needs.

Driving directions

  • Based in Hazel Grove, Stockport
  • 15minutes from Manchester airport, 3 minutes from Hazel Grove station and 10minutes from Stockpot train station. 
  •  There is both free on road parking and we have our own dedicated car park and off road parking to the front of the Centre.
