In addition to her centered and grounded presence, you can expect authenticity, humor, and compassionate curiosity when you are with Cea. Her quality of presence has grown not only from her nature, but also from her experiences and studies.

Cea has been offering therapeutic services for a decade, as licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, somatic psychotherapist, social worker, and yoga teacher specializing in trauma and therapeutics. She has offered therapies in private sessions, inpatient units at the VA Hospital (in psychiatric care and substance addiction recovery), inpatient and intensive outpatient care at an addiction recovery center, inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents, and at a school for children on the Autism Spectrum or with Down's Syndrome. She understands how to meet people where they are.

She has a Master's in Social Work from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work, a bachelor's degree from Davidson College, and licensures for mental health and body therapies. She deepens her CranioSacral Therapy practice not only through the Upledger Institute, but also through ongoing mentorship with one of Dr. John Upledger's students.
