I'm a Techniques Certified CranioSacral Therapist CST-T and  Teaching Assistant for Upledger classes CS1 & CS2.  I have degrees from SUNY Buffalo  in Physical Therapy and Exercise Science and am a NYS licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of experience.

I became interested in complimentary and energy medicine after discovering first hand the healing benefits of Tai Chi classes for myself and then my patients.   I went on to become a Black Belt in White Crane Kung Fu, a Reiki Master and certified instructor in Yoga and Meditation.  I've studied Ayurveda ~ The science of life~ with Dr Vasant Lad and Sonam Targee and teach yoga and meditation classes at local studios and as a volunteer in a nearby prison.   

My main treatment approach is CranioSacral Therapy at Carrie Ruffner Body Balance  in Geneseo, NY. , but I'll draw from  a wealth of modalities to optimize your treatment.

Hours of operation / Fees

Initial Visit  90 mins   $180

We'll discuss your concerns then assess things like posture, muscle strength, joint motion, balance, and lines of tension within the soft tissue to look for the root causes of your concerns.  You'll receive a full treatment including a few home practices to support your progress. 

Body Balance Session   60 mins. $125 ,or 90 mins. $180     

 CranioSacral Therapy is my main treatment approach but we'll draw from a rich variety of practices based on your goals. 

As a Physical Therapist in N.Y.S., if you are under the care of a medical practitioner for your current problem and your insurance plan includes out of network coverage, you may receive some reimbursement.  I am an out of network provider and request payment at the time of service.  I'll help submit a claim to your insurance provider on your behalf with reimbursement going directly to you.
