Carolyn Lobenberg

Carolyn began a “search for wellness” in 1997 in an effort to help one child with learning disabilities - her own. Along the way, she discovered that people of any age or circumstance can benefit from revisiting simple, gentle and natural things that promote wellness. Her greatest discovery was CranioSacral Therapy. The attraction was so strong that she left her teaching career in the early 2000’s to become a CranioSacral Therapist. Carolyn has been practicing CST since 2007. She is an avid believer and witness to the principle that human beings have the innate ability to restore, reverse and repair "dis-ease" states in body, mind and spirit.

Carolyn practices CranioSacral Therapy at Lightouch LLC in Annandale, New Jersey; Take Care Counseling Center in Flemington, New Jersey; and The Body Balance Center in Pottersville, New Jersey. She works with people of all ages from infants to elder persons, supporting the body's Inner Wisdom to unwind traumas large and small, including the stresses and strains of everyday living, sprains, hyperactivity, migraine headaches, back and neck issues, chronic pain, sports injuries, birth trauma, concussions, learning disabilities and emotional trauma. Carolyn has a special place in her heart for children with learning, attention and behavior issues and has witnessed improvement in many children after treatment. In her practice, Carolyn's primary tools are CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional release. At times she incorporates meridian work and lymph drainage, and is forever mindful of the chakras. Having an MA in Religious Studies, Carolyn is able to hold a reverent space for each person's unique spirituality, should they choose to express it.
