Bonnie McNairn, Licensed Massage Therapist

Offering

Bonnie McNairn has been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1997. She holds National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork through NCBTMB since 1999.
Bonnie specializes in bringing one back to wholeness by easing stress, trauma and chronic pain. She is vitally interested in working with clients who need a discerning approach with full presence and attention; individuals who are ready for healing. Work toward Recovery from Injury and Trauma is her main offering to her clients.

Early Professional Training

Bonnie's career of Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy and Trigger Point Therapy began in 1997 through training with John Rodriguez, Registered Massage Therapist, track and field coach and athlete in Houston, Texas. At John Rodriguez & Associates, clients included Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Lewis, professional arena football athletes, university track and field competitors, marathon runners and mountain bike racers.

Fitness & Yoga Therapy

Bonnie maintains a consistent personal yoga practice that she began in 1984. Influenced by her certified Iyengar yoga teachers and by Tias Little, she began teaching yoga in Taos in 2000. Between 2000 and 2015 in addition to her bodywork practice, Bonnie taught group fitness classes in Yoga, Pilates and Aqua Aerobics. She is particularly interested in facilitating physical recovery and maintenance through fitness, strength and flexibility in compromised bodies such as the infirm and the injured.
