About Me
Dr B Naidoo is a young vibrant person, born and bred along the warm coastlines of KZN. She immediately started with Medical School at the University of the KwaZulu Natal post matriculation from Northlands Girls High School. She graduated in 2012. Her two years of internship were completed at Tygerberg Hospital in the Western Cape and in 2015 she started her Community Service at the Department of Defence, serving the South African National Army, Navy and Airforce, for 30 months. She then resolved to experience 3 years as an Emergency and Trauma Doctor throughout our Private Institutes in Kwa-Zulu Natal. During her stint in emergency medicine, Dr Bianca Naidoo joined North Beach Medical Centre in North Beach Durban, to practice family medicine from 2018 till current.
In family practice, Dr B Naidoo offers standard treatment of care for various ailments ranging from seasonal flu, common skin rashes to chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, HIV and asthma. Diagnositic measures are undertaken to provide treatment via prescription medication or medical procedures according to the patients needs and clinical guidelines.
Dr B Naidoo has intergrated holistic healing into her practice. This means looking at the patient as a whole, sometimes delving deep into the history of the tissue to discover the root of a current problem, or recurring problem and offering alternative treatment options like Acupuncture or CST.
Cranio-sacral therapy ( CST ) has been a means to manage certain ailments that allopathic medicine does not seem to reach. Cranio-sacral therapy is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine the membranes and movements of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.
ACUDETOX involves a simple standardised 5 point auricular acupuncture modality. NADA-Style treatment incorporates frequent ACUDETOX sessions for Yin Tonification and detox of the lung, liver and kidney to alleviate suffering and repetitive patterns of behaviour that cause harm to the body.
