A little about myself. I am a licensed massage therapist in ND & in MT. I have 10 years of experience. 

Story of how I got into massage therapy. My grandma and dad have always had back pain and I wanted to find a way to help them. So Originally I was thinking of going into med school then changed my mind on how our healthcare system is becoming And I didn’t agree with it and couldn’t see myself being limited in how I could help not only my family but other people. Also Lets face it I didn’t want to be in that much student loan debt for the rest of my life. So then I started looking into more natural medicine and massage therapy kept popping up in every search and in the end it made sense because in elementary and middle school I was always conned into rubbing my friends or other classmates backs and shoulders. 

My education entails:

In 2012 After I graduated high school I moved straight to Salt Lake City, Utah to start massage school. This is where I first completed the Professional program which was 815.50 hours. Then I went to complete the Master Massage Program which was an additional 66.50 hours. So total I’ve completed 1036 hours. Then it came to taking the state boards which I took in Centerville Utah to be honest I barely passed I got 4 questions over the minimum passing grade. I’ve never been a good test taker it’s like my brain freezes and loses all the information I was studying for countless hours.  But in the end I passed and could start my massage therapy career. I stayed and worked in Salt Lake City for a few months before moving back to be closer to family because my grandma wasn’t doing very well and was fighting pancreatic cancer. So I started my career in Plentywood MT where at first I was doing more part time while I worked a cushy job at the Stockman Bank. Then I was traveling to Scobey MT and working for Lund Chiropractic for I believe about a year on my days off from the bank. Then I got the push from an amazing woman named Leslie to switch to massaging full time so then I started massaging full time at The Hinge Salon and I never looked back since. So I worked there from about 2015-2018.

Then in December 2018 I met my boyfriend and decided to make the move to Williston ND and start my massage business and clientele over. I started at Eternal Bliss Massage and Salon and worked there for about a year then switched over to All the Rage Studios in June 2019 to present. 

Every two years, the ND state board of massage requires licensed massage therapists to complete 24 hours of continuing education hours. Most of the hours are required to be hands on versus online credits.
