About Me

I am an ASHA Speech Language Pathologist and a Certified CranioSacral Therapist practicing in the Asheville/Hendersonville area of North Carolina. I am co-owner of a therapy business in Asheville, NC called 8th Element Asheville along with 2 other therapists.  . I have 20+ years of experience with adolescent and adult neurogenic populations. I also work with patients who have undergone treatment for head and neck cancer including chemotherapy, radiation and reconstructive surgery of the jaw, mouth, face; throat. In recent years I have added CranioSacral treatments in my practice as well as holistic nutrition.

CST has brought new and deeper dimensions for whole body healing that are vital for true recovery. Problems associated with disease, surgery, injury or trauma can be transmitted into the tissues of the body causing yet other problems to occur. CST can give the body unique opportunities to heal.

I am so thankful for CranioSacral Therapy and the privilege to provide this treatment for those who come my way.

My Skills

CST: Currently I have studied core courses and learned techniques that I can offer to patients in the rehab setting as well as those that I see privately: I have frequent opportunities to do Mouth Work for post surgery/radiation patients and whole body work for TBI, stroke and other issues in the rehab setting. I will continue to study adding new techniques in order to further assist people in their healing process.

Hours of operation / Fees

Hours: Tuesday - Friday. 8:30am - 5:30pm by appointment. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes.  Fees available on request.
