ND, CNHP, MH, Acu. Diplm

I started my journey in home health care in 1994 while attending school to become an acupuncturist. This path was inspired by an injury I sustained while working as a gas station manager.

As I pursued my master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I realized I needed an additional year of schooling in medicine to continue my studies. Therefore, I opted for a double major in Sports Medicine and Certified Medical Assistant, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Once I completed these programs, I returned to finish my degree in Acupuncture.

Upon obtaining my degree, I further enhanced my education by earning a Doctorate in Naturopathy and gaining certifications in Healing Touch, Craniosacral Therapy, Nutrition, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

I opened my practice in 2000 and am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with everyone who has walked through my door.  Helping people feel better and heal is my passion.

Skills

Throughout my 25 years of practice, I have worked with individuals of all ages, ranging from prenatal care to grandparents.

I assist pregnant mothers in preparing for delivery, addressing issues like a baby being positioned on only one side of the abdomen or needing to be turned for a proper birth. Once the baby is born, I focus on repositioning anything that may require adjustment. This can include reshaping the head, realigning the ribs, adjusting the jaw for better latching, or making hip adjustments.

I also work with children and young adults. Not everyone receives care after birth, and not all body parts settle into the correct position on their own. As the body grows, limbs may need to be adjusted to accommodate new growth. Sports injuries can occur, and seeing a doctor or chiropractor isn’t always the best solution.

Additionally, I help employees who sustain work-related injuries or experience discomfort due to poor posture. I provide guidance on how to rearrange their workspaces to alleviate ongoing pain.
