Since 2010, I have been a massage therapist approved by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork, and member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I became a credentialled Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner through Somatic Experiencing® International in 2023, and with my knowledge of the body, I work intimately with your nervous system to provide trauma-informed care.
My extensive and varied education background includes being a trained and professional actor (M.F.A from University of Virginia, 1999) and gives me unique perspective on body behaviors and functions. My continued self-education and interest in neurophysiology and attachment theory also lends insight into an organism's relationship to thought, emotion and meaning, and its innate ability to be the source of transformation and healing for an individual.
I have integrated these perceptions over 14 years of experience, cultivating my intuition and skills to support your physical and personal goals.
