Amy was born and raised in Southeastern Colorado where she continues to serve her community as a physical therapist. She graduated from Regis University in Denver where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2014. She then worked in an outpatient clinic for 6 years before opening her own practice in 2020. Good News Physical Therapy has been a way for Amy to see patients on a one-on-one basis for 45-60 minute treatment sessions. She became passionate about manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art and became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist in 2023. She continues to further her education through primarily Barral Institute courses to refine her skills in manual therapy. When she is not in the clinic or gone for a course, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their three children. A typical Saturday at home with the kids may include riding the horse, chasing cows, watching the chickens, playing with the dogs or making sourdough.
