About
Joy started her career as a Registered General Nurse back in 1980.
After 20 years of nursing, she re-qualified as a McTimoney Chiropractor in 1998, from the McTimoney Chiropractic College in Oxford.
She is now a McTimoney Practitioner, embracing the ethos of the founder of the treatment John McTimoney.
In 2019 Joy discovered Upledger Craniosacral therapy and embarked on the training.
Since introducing cranio-sacral therapy into her McTimoney work, Joy has seen some wonderful healing take place. Miraculous in some instances. Combiing the skeletal alignment the Upleger work, is a powerful combination.
As part of her commitment to the CST ethos Joy regularly has treatment herself and has found it invaluable to understand the nuances of what CST and SER can achieve for herself and can therefore help others with the understanding that working on your own issues brings.
