Alena Janny

PT, DPT, MCT, FNCP

Welcome! My name is Lena Janny.  I am a physical therapist who has been working in hospital and outpatient settings for many years.  I initially graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Master's of Physical Therapy in 2007.  I further continued my education and pursued a Doctor of Physical Therapy as well as Manual Therapy Certification in 2017.  Later I became very interested in non-traditional body work and completed visceral mobilization I and II courses through the Barral Institute in addition to Cranio Sacral Therapy I and II courses.  I will continue to be a life long learner of this work.

As a manual therapist I listen to the body and let it guide me through the treatment approach. I believe that the body of every patient has a story to tell and already knows what it needs for healing. Treating every patient as an individual and listening to them (instead of merely focusing on symptoms) is an essential part on the road to recovery. Cranio Sacral therapy and visceral work help identify exactly where the body is asking for assistance.
