Preya Porter PT, LLCC

About Me

I have been a licensed Physical Therapist since 1999. I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and then from the University of St. Augustine with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.

I have worked in many healthcare settings including skilled nursing/rehab facilities, acute care, outpatient and home health.

I am passionate about caring for my patients and am committed to advancing my manual skills to facilitate the healing process of others.

My Skills

I have always had an interest in manual therapy and am continually improving my skills. I originally studied under Stanley Paris, PhD where I developed my joint mobilization skills. Later I pursued coursework with the Institute of Physical Art learning soft tissue mobilization and myofascial release.

In 2005, I began study with the Upledger Institute and have taken many classes in the CranioSacral, Visceral and Neural Manipulation and Lymphatic Drainage curricula. I am currently a Certified Lymphatic Therapist and a teaching assistant for the Visceral Manipulation curriculum.
