Diana Simonton
Certified Massage Therapist (CMT)

Diana is a 1992 graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, D.C., certified as a massage therapist by the Virginia Board of Nursing and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She has maintained a full time private practice in Alexandria since 1992. Diana sees people with a wide range of goals and concerns, from general health maintainence, anxiety and stress relief to allieviation of chronic pain, musculoskeletal pain or injury and other medical conditions. She builds her skills by regularly attending continuing education classes in her field. Diana has been studying Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) with the Upledger Institute since January 2003, and is a teaching assistant for LDT classes given by the Institute. Another area of professional interest she enjoys is volunteering with the Virginia Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She has been working on the Chapter Board to advance and support the profession since 1993.

Driving directions
The office is located in the Cornerstone Chiropractic building, at the corner of South Columbus and Duke Streets, in Old Town Alexandria. Driving directions: From Washington, D.C.: Take the George Washington Parkway south, proceed through Alexandria to Duke Street. Take a right onto Duke, and the first left onto South Columbus. The office is the first building on the corner of South Columbus, a small two story brick building. Street parking. Small amount of free parking across the street from the building, metered and 2 hour parking in the neighborhood. From the south: Take the G.W. Parkway north, turn left on Duke Street, then the next left onto So. Columbus St. From the Beltway: Take the Route 1 north exit, go 2 blocks, turn right onto Duke St., then right onto So. Columbus St. From Route 7: Continue into Old Town (past the Masonic Temple) on route 7 (King St.). Go about 7 blocks, turn right onto So. Columbus. Go 2 blocks, to the corner of Duke and So. Columbus Streets.
