With a newly minted Masters Degree in English in my hand and a growing list of publications and a novel under consideration at a major publishers, I thought I was on my way to a promising writing career. Then I had a car accident. In the course of treating the resultant whiplash, I discovered bodywork and was instantly hooked. Ever since experiencing the power of CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, my goal has been to provide my patients with the latest advances in these gentle and exceptionally effective osteopathic derivatives. In addition to taking classes,I also recieve treatments regularly. My patients have demonstrated again and again that the body’s ability to heal is virtually unlimited. Therefore, whether your condition is acute or chronic, and no matter how many doctors and therapists you’ve seen, CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation can probably unlock your healing potential and enable you to regain your health. For more information about this, please give me a call (907) 272-HEAL (4325) or check out my website, www.healingjourneysak.com

My skills

I integrate Visceral Manipulation with the CranioSacral Brain and Immune work to free and repair the body’s most delicate and vital internal organs, using mechanical, emotional, and energetic techniques. I'm particularly drawn to optimizing the heart and the arteries. Eliminating their challenges has a profound effect on the Central Nervous System, the CranioSacral System, and all the other body systems. Nearly a century ago, A.T. Still the founder of Osteopathy opined that the rule of the artery is supreme. For the past three years, this has been my clinical experience.

Articles & Books Written

For the past decade, I have been a regular contributor or columnist at Alaska Wellness Magazine, focusing on the importance of manual therapy to free up mechanical restrictions in the tissues. Many of these articles can be found on my website, www.healingjourneysak.com.
