Terry Purcell CranioSacral Therapy
I work with adults, teenagers, and children (including infants) experiencing a wide range of physical and emotional trauma and prevention including headaches/migranes, TMJ, chronic neck and back pain, scoliosis, motor coordination impairments, central nervous system disorders, emotional difficulties (including anxiety and depression), stress and tension-related problems, learning disablilities, ADD/ADHD, fibromyalgia, post surgical disfunction, brain and spinal cord injuries, vertigo, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, post-traumatic stress disorder, orthopedic problems, cerebral palsy, and infant and childhood disorders as well as many other conditions. I attended the Upledger Institute in the following classes levels: CranioSacral I & II, CranioSacral for Pediatrics, SomatoEmotional Release I & II, Advanced CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage I & II & III, Visceral Manipulation:Abdomin, and Brain 1 and 2. Developed by osteopath John Upledger, CranioSacral Therapy involves a gentle, non-invasive touch focused on identifying and releasing restrictions/tensions in the body's craniosacral system (the membranes and cerebrospinal fluids surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal cord). Dysfunction in this system may cause sensory, neurological, and motor imbalances, and freeing the natural flow can allow the body to self-correct by eliminating pain and stress, strengthening the immune system, and enhancing health and well-being. For more information on CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, please visit the website: www.upledger.com. For information on Brain Work and Lymph Drainage, please visit the website: www.chikly.com. I also studied Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and Therapeutic Massage at IMI, and am a graduate of University of South Florida.
