Mya Breman Mya Breman's career underwent a drastic shift when she left TV and radio to join The Upledger Institute as marketing director in 1989. Impressed by the results she saw clients attain here, she returned to school to study manual therapy. Ms. Breman has since earned her state and national massage therapy licenses, as well as a master's degree in clinical social work from Barry University. In addition to seeing private clients at UI HealthPlex, Ms. Breman is active in the clinic's one- and two-week intensive programs. She works with people experiencing a wide range of physical and emotional trauma. She also enjoys working with horses and other animals. Ms. Breman frequently presents at conventions where she demonstrates CranioSacral Therapy techniques. She also is involved in The Upledger Foundation's Compassionate Touch program, in which she teaches children simple healthcare techniques that help build self-esteem with the goal of reducing classroom violence. |
