Mable Sharp lives in Detroit Michigan and is a licensed physical therapist and a licensed massage therapist in the State of Michigan. She has been a CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner since 1990 and is CranioSacral Therapy Diplomate Certified by The Upledger Institute, Inc.
Prior to starting her own private practice, Healthcare Alternatives, she was the Director of Physical Therapy at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She is actively involved in treating clients using the techniques taught by The Upledger Institute including CranioSacral Therapy, Viscral Manipulation, Lymph Drainage and the Brain curriculum. Her adult clientele primarily present with chronic pain, orthopedic and neurological problems and about a third of her clients are children with a variety of dysfunctions.
Mable is Co-Chair of The Upledger Institute's Certification Program and has been a certified Instructor for CranioSacral Therapy I since 1999. Mable also teaches Certification Preparation Classes and Tutorial Classes for the Institute. She also continues to provide presentations on numerous aspects of CST to a variety of professional and lay groups.
