Lisa Williams, OTR/L, LMT

Lisa Williams brings unique skills for alleviating pain and improving flexibility to her independent practice in Knoxville. Currently, Lisa's office is located at 18 Forest Court in Knoxville. She is certified in Myofascial Integration Structural Technique, a form of deep tissue massage that improves flexibility and decreases pain. For the past seven years she has also practiced Craniosacral Therapy, which uses a variety of gentle techniques to enhance the body's innate ability to heal. By applying these two techniques in an interdisciplinary approach, Lisa is able to correct restrictions in the soft tissue known as fascia, dissolving them from the inside out and from the outside in. She offers a 10-session program that alleviates pain and improves flexibility, posture and mobility. Lisa also offers Integrated Therapeutic Massage, using a range of massage techniques tailored to alleviate your individual aches and pains. Lisa comes to massage therapy with long experience in the medical community. Before becoming a massage therapist, she worked more than 20 years as an occupational therapist, a therapy supervisor, and an occupational therapy instructor
