Kathy has been a practicing massage therapist in the Clearwater area since 1984. She graduated from the Humanities School of Massage in Pinellas Park, Florida in 1984.She has been trained in various techniques including Russian Medical Massage with Zenya Wine, Neuromuscular Therapy with Judith Walker Delaney,Hypnotherapy with Allyce Smith of The World Institute of Cognitive Sciences/Department of Humanities, Strain/Counterstrain and Muscle Energy with Keri D'Ambrosio,Heart Centered Therapy with Alaya Chikly,and Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. Kathy's area of specialization is Craniosacral Therapy and Mind-Based Sress Reduction Instruction for Mind Body Wellness. Previously, Kathy worked in clinical laboratory medicine. She worked as a Neuro Research Assistant for the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Brockton, Massachusetts, and the V.A. in Tampa. Just prior to dedicating her time exclusively to her private practice, she worked as a Histologist at Mease Hospital in Dunedin, Florida. |
