I first experienced CranioSacral work because I sought treatment for chronic neck pain and migraines. I had been on a healing journey in search of a modality that was best for my body, my path became straight when I discovered CranioSacral Therapy. After my first treatment, I started learning about the craniosacral system, Dr. Upledger, and the CranioSacral techniques. After much studying and many workshops I changed careers from academic librarianship to CranioSacral Therapist. Now I am able to share this powerful modalities with others, which is an honor and always rewarding.

Skills

I am certified by the Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy. This means I passed an extensive written and a hands-on exam where I proved my skills and aptitude as a craniosacral therapist. I am also a certified massage therapist and licensed with the city of Eagan. 

I hold a Master of Science in Library Information Science. I am a craniosacral therapist who respects the medical and scientific community as I have a background in a medical and academic librarianship. I believe in the scientific process, medical research, evidence based practices, and complementary therapies. 

I am skilled to work with adults, teens, and children who are looking for relief from a wide range of conditions. Often people with chronic headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder pain seek me out for treatment. But I enjoy working with a variety of people and ailments. Overall, I believe the best benefit of craniosacral therapy is that it quickly puts the body into a parasympathetic state and can strengthen the body's ability to stay in a more relaxed state, so it is wonderful for stress management and the whole body.
