Eric Moya

Eric Moya CST-D, LMT, RMTI is the owner/director of The Ripple Effect. His practice specializes in CranioSacral Therapy and Lymph Drainage Therapy. Additionally, he has training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Positional Release Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and massage.
He is Diplomate certified in CranioSacral Therapy, the highest level of certification possible. He is also certified to teach CranioSacral Therapy developed by John Upledger, D.O., O.M.M. Internationally, he teaches and lectures on CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy and ethics. Eric is a certification examiner, testing other practitioners who desire to become certified in CranioSacral Therapy. Locally, he has taught massage therapy for over eight years and he is a group leader for the Esalen Institute.
His original degrees are in English literature and creative writing from the Honors College at the University of Houston where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Eric has also completed his masters degree in mental health counseling with a specialization in marriage and family therapy. His beginning massage training came from the Crystal Mountain School of Massage, and his advanced training has come from many sources.

"On a personal note, my therapeutic passions are split between being a practitioner and being a lecturer. I feel that my practice grows from those whom I meet around the country, and I feel my lecturing grows from those I see in my practice.
"Personally, I also have a strong love of the study of ethics, the ethics of touch, and the ethics of being a healthcare practitioner. In addition to having a manual therapy practice, part of my practice is supervising other healthcare practitioners with respect to maintaining healthy ethics and boundaries in their practice. I do this work in both the individual and group settings."
