Don is a CranioSacral Therapy Instructor for The Upledger Institute, Inc. He maintains a private practice, Alliance Physical Therapy in Rochester, NH where he specializes in CranioSacral Therapy.
Mr. Ash also lectures and presents on CranioSacral Therapy, internationally, on behalf of The Upledger Institute.
Don has written a book, Lessons From The Sessions, (only available through the Upledger Institute) in which he describes lessons learned from experiences with patients. The book is designed to help both patients and therapists understand the process of CST and SomatoEmotional Release. It describes sessions in which the body taught Don and the patient some of the wonderful ways in which it can communicate to us and help us heal and grow, if we only listen to the craniosacral rhythm.
He has also produced a tape/CD called Breath Venting, in which he teaches us how to use breath to relax and promote healing. Its a great complimentary home exercise for patients currently receiving CST.

My skills
Don is a Physical Therapist using CranioSacral Therapy. He works with children and adults, the youngest being four hours old and the eldest being 101 years. He tells his patients the gentle light manual touch of CST helps the body release fascial and musculoskeletal restrictions to improve central nervous system function. SomatoEmotional Release thru CST assists the patient in becoming aware of emotional holdings in the body. CST is a wonderful tool in helping the patient relax, decrease the effects of trauma, tension, stress, anxiety and pain. Once these issues have changed the person can then be ready to exercise, heal, recover function and return to normal living with new vitality and awareness. Emotions and feelings held in tissues can be the underlying cause of disease, often the undiagnosed or untreated element keeping a person from healing, recovering, and being at ease in their own body. CST is safe, effective and a beautiful mind/body tool for personal growth.
Don has taught nationally and internationally for the UI since 1999.He currently teaches CST1, SER1, Dissection, and The Brain Speaks |
