Cloé Couturier is a highly skilled, multi-discipline oriented healthcare practitioner who masters in combining different approaches to facilitating good health and healing. She has researched and studied complementary healthcare for more than 20 years. She earned her Massage Therapy License from the Florida Institute of Massage Therapy in Ft. Lauderdale in 1989. She then began a course of study and training with The British College of Osteopathy and Alternative Therapies in Paris, France, where she became certified in 1993. During this course, she received an extensive hands-on training including over 500 hours of cranial osteopathy, over 500 hours of visceral osteopathy. She also has trained in the Sutherland Muscle Energy Techniques together with Structural Integration. Ms. Couturier, invited by Dr. John Upledger DO, OMM, while he was working on her son, joined the staff of HealthPlex Clinical Services in 1996. Prior to that she combined teaching, managing a successful practice. In addition to her advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release® , Ms. Couturier is a diligent meditator for over 25 years who combines a variety of skills including Neuromuscular Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Mechanical Link, Strain/Counterstrain, Myofacial Release together with Medical Qi Gong to treat the person as the healing process unfolds. She was a featured speaker at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th World Congress on Qi Gong in San Francisco since 1997, the Qi Gong Summit in Washington, D.C. in 2000 and the First Symposium for Self-Healing and Consciousness Power in 2001. She presented at "Beyond The Dura" resarch confereince 2003 on "Qigong with CranioSacral Therapy". She is the developper of a new IAHE course: "Qigong T'Chings". Driving directions Getting Here: The Upledger Clinic is located at 11211 Prosperity Farms Road, Suite D-223, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. From I-95, take PGA Boulevard east; or from the Florida Turnpike, take Exit 109 (Palm Beach Gardens). From there, go east on PGA Boulevard to Prosperity Farms Road. Turn right. Within 2/10 of a mile, you'll see on the right a red entrance marker and the 11211 address. Turn here. From the entrance, proceed to the office complex on the left (Bldg. D).
