Cloe Couturier
LMT/CO, CST-D Marie-Clotilde Couturier (Cloé) has researched and studied complementary healthcare for more than 20 years. She earned her Massage Therapy License from the Florida Institute of Massage Therapy in Ft. Lauderdale in 1989. She then began a course of study and training with The British College of Osteopathy and Alternative Therapies in Paris, France, where she became certified in 1993. During this course, she received an extensive hands-on training including over 500 hours of cranial osteopathy, over 500 hours of visceral osteopathy, Sutherland Muscle Energy Techniques, Biomechanics and Joint Mobilization. Ms. Couturier, invited by Dr. John Upledger DO, OMM, joined the staff of HealthPlex Clinical Services in 1996. Prior to that she combined teaching, building a successful practice and working part-time for the Institute for Nonsurgical Orthopedics in Ft. Lauderdale. In addition to her advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release® , Ms. Couturier combines a variety of techniques including Neuromuscular Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Mechanical Link, Strain/Counterstrain, Myofacial Release together with Medical Qi Gong. She was a featured speaker at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th World Congress on Qi Gong in San Francisco since 1997, the Qi Gong Summit in Washington, D.C. in 2000 and the First Symposium for Self-Healing and Consciousness Power in 2001. She presented at "Beyond The Dura" resarch confereince 2003 on "Qigong with CranioSacral Therapy". She is the developper of a new IAHE course: "Qigong T'Chings".
