I have been in the health care field for more than 25 years, as a nurse, massage therapist, yoga instructor and CranioSacral Practitioner. The typical clients that come to see me have been in pain for a long time without finding a solution that addresses their problem.

I have worked with people who have been diagnosed with everything from migraines to back pain to Attention Deficit Disorder. My clients ages range from 2 weeks old to 90 years old . CST can help with emotional as well as physical problems, which are commonly linked. A CranioSacral Practitioner tunes into your body, assesses and assists it in releasing restrictions and imbalances. Once a source of obstruction or stress has been determined, I can assist the natural movement of the fluid and related soft tissue to help the body self-correct.

For the past 15 years I have focused on CranioSacral therapy and it’s been very rewarding, seeing the results of a team effort between myself -- the practitioner -- and the client. In addition to working with my clients I teach introduction classes to CST to other health care professionals in cooperation with The Upledger Institute.

I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and have lived in England and Canada before settling in the United States with my husband and two children 20 years ago.

If not for CranioSacral Therapy, I would definitely not be in the physical shape that I am today. I rode my horse in a Hunter Pace Competitive race for 10 miles today. It was the first time I was able to do that for two years. In 2002, I was bucked off my horse. After having a lot of pain I went to see an orthopedic doctor, and was told that I needed surgery to fuse three discs. I was told my chance of getting better was one in four. So, I decided to try other things first. I was recommended by a friend to see Christine. I began to see relief from pain almost immediately. I gradually began to be able to go shopping without having to sit after only a few minutes, and I could ride in a car and not be in pain. Two years later, I’m back to riding my horses, cutting my grass and traveling by plane and car with minimal discomfort. I never needed surgery.
