Cheri Bailey,BS,CST,NCTMB,E-RYT began her professional career as a teacher in the early seventies. In 1995 she became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and a registered professional with the American Massage Therapy Association. During the past 15 years she has traveled many avenues of the healing arts. She studied Myofacial Release with the Core Institute of Florida and became a Reiki Master/Teacher in the early years of her bodywork career. She is now an Advanced CranioSacral Therapist and Teaching Assistant with the Upledger Institute. Cheri enhances the body's natural healing processes to improve the operation of the central nervous system, dissipate the negative effects of stress and enhance health, well-being and resistance to disease. As a Certified Ashiastu Therapist, she gives deeply relaxing myofacial release sessions using her feet instead of her hands. (www.deepfeet.com) Following years of personal practice, Cheri became a registered yoga alliance instructor and founded a yoga center in Illinois called Be Well Now. She is now an E-RYT with a registered 200-hour teacher- training curriculum. Cheri is a certified presenter of Healing From the Core for developer, Suzanne Scurlock-Durana. She is available for 1-day workshops which integrate restorative Yin Yoga with the basic principles of Full Body Presence, the backbone of Healing From the Core. My skills
As a licensed massage therapist with specialties in Ashiatsu and CranioSacral Therapy, Cheri enhances her training, knowledge and skills with conscious presence and compassionate touch. As a teacher of yoga and meditation, she weaves mindfulness practice artfully into all her sessions. Her one-day presentations of Healing From the Core are a fusion of Restorative Yoga and Full Body Presence teachings.
