License Massage Therapist since 1997. Since receiving my first Cranio Sacral Treatment in 1998, my practice focus turned to Cranio Sacral Therapy and it has become my specialization.
Other Upledger modalities used in my practice are: Somato Emotional Release, Lymphatic Drainage and Visceral Manipulation. I began Teach Assisting in 2000 and currently assist with Seminars in Cranio Sacral I, II & III & Pediatrics, Somato Emotional Release I & II, Lymphatic Drainage I, II & III for the Upledger Institute. I have held Study Groups for Cranio Sacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release and Lymphatic Drainage in Miami and have Presented 4 hour Cranio Sacral Therapy Introductory format. PIP and Worker's Comp Insurance and personal medical insurance accepted where massage is a covered benefit. Insurance benefits for massage, must be confirmed prior to treatment. As of January 2008, Medicare under plans of Humana and Care Plus (plan must qualify) cover Massage Therapy without medical necessary (requires confirmation of benefits). Each client's needs are different -- treatment may include techniques from a variety of modalities as appropraite, including Cranio Sacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Visceral Manipulaiton, Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology, and where appropriate massage for the special needs of Women during Pregnancy.
Additionally, I instruct Yoga and Pilates, Mat and Reformer (Reformer at my North Miami location - unless you have equipment). I'm also an instructor for the Senior Exercise Program "SilverSneakers" for Cardio & Range of Motion, Muscle Strength and Flexibility and Yoga Stretch. Professional Associations / Memberships
