Barbara was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in l977. She began her PT career in a comprehensive rehabilitation setting while acting as a Clinical Field Instructor for the University of Pittsburgh. She continued post-graduate studies in orthopedic and manual therapy while working in sports medicine and hospital settings until opening her private practice in Wilmington, Vermont in 1989.
She began as a teaching assistant for Visceral Manipulaton in 1993 and was certified as an Instructor for the Barral Institute in 2006.
She has continued her education through courses in Visceral Manilpulation, Nervous System, Craniosacral Therapy, Neural Mobilization, Muscle Energy, Strain/Counterstrain, Mechanical Link, Energy Mirrors, Spirituality and Healing, Zero Balancing and Process Acupressure. She is a Certified Advanced Practitioner of Process Acupressure.
