Barbara was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in l977. She began her PT career in a comprehensive rehabilitation setting while acting as a Clinical Field Instructor for the University of Pittsburgh. She continued post-graduate studies in orthopedic and manual therapy while working in sports medicine and hospital settings until opening her private practice in Wilmington, Vermont in 1989. She continued her clinical education through courses in Biomechanics, Muscle Energy, Strain/Counterstrain, Cranialsacral Therapy and Cranial Fluid Dynamics, Mechanical Link, Zero Balancing, Process Acupressure, Spirituality and Healing, and Energy Mirrors. She is an Advanced Certified Practicioner of Process Acupressure.
She began as a teaching assistant for Visceral Manipulaton in 1993 and was certified as a Visceral Manipulation Instructor for the Barral Institute in 2006 and began teaching Neuro-meningeal manipulation for the Barral Institute in 2008.
Barbara manages Physical Therapy Plus, LLC in Wilmington, Vermont providing care to children and adults utilizing a wholistic integrative model.
