Through my own healing journey both professionally and personally, which includes surviving a life threatening illness, I have developed many skills to connect with this inner wisdom. Whether you are experiencing serious illness or injury or just wanting a deeper connection with your own inner wisdom I bring my knowledge, compassion and experience to assist you on your healing journey to find your highest state of well-being.

I have been a Connecticut and Rhode Island Licensed Massage Therapist for over 34 Years with my own business, Healing Island Wellness Center LLC. 
I use a Holistic approach including many modalities to help you relax, reduce stress and relieve pain.
 
I have been practicing CranioSacral Therapy for over 29 years, since 1995. I am currently one of only 10 Certified CranioSacral Therapists in CT (with additional training in Pediatric and Obstetric CranioSacral work) and the only Certified Therapist in CT currently who is an Upledger Certified Teaching Assistant and Upledger Institute approved (since 2003) to teach Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy and Overview to CranioSacral Therapy. I also teach ShareCare classes to lay people who wish to learn craniosacral techniques to use with family members who may have autism, ADD/ADHD, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, injuries or other dysfunctions. Additionally I lead CranioSacral Study Groups.

I have lectured on CranioSacral Therapy to classes at Quinnipiac University, at Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital for the Brain Injury Association of Connecticut and at Windham Hospital. Additionally I have been an instructor for and taught some CranioSacral workshops at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT) in Newington Connecticut (graduated from CCMT) and taught in the Bodywork training program at Kripalu Yoga and Health Center in Lenox MA in the 1990's under Peggy Schjeldahl, the Director of the program. I also developed the G.R.A.C.E. Healing Method.

In Mansfield, one hour session $100; half hour session $50;

In Fairfield, one hour session $150; half hour session $75

G.R.A.C.E. session $125;

Remote/Long Distance Meta Healing $125 (includes a phone consultation);

yoga class $20 or six week class series for $100; Reiki class fee depends on level I, II, Advanced, Master/Teacher

Certified CranioSacral Therapist practicing since 1995 (over 29 years), 1 of 10 in CT (trained in Pediatric and Obstetric CranioSacral Therapy as well as SomatoEmotional Release); I have also taken classes on Cranial Nerves and the interface between the CranioSacral System and the Glymphatic System (glia cells) and Working with Chronic Depletion.

Certified Teaching Assistant for the Upledger Institute and Upledger approved since 2003 to teach Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy, Overview to CranioSacral Therapy and ShareCare classes. Additional training in Advanced BioAquatic exploration where CranioSacral Therapy is done with dolphins and humans in water; Zero Balancing; Visceral Manipulation; Lymphatic Drainage; Kinesiology for the Massage Therapist (based on Touch for Health); Healing from the Core; Additional training in other modalities.

I have written several articles for local papers on CranioSacral Therapy including Neighbors newspaper in 2008 (published in Mansfield, CT) and The Door Opener Holistic Health Magazine (CT) in the Fall 2010 issue.
